Tasting Notes: It tastes fresh with hints of lemons and a bit of grapefruit, along with a smooth, creamy flavor like nougat. After that, you can taste a lasting hint of macadamia nuts. History: In 1997, Dr. Anton Rupert and Baron Edmond de Rothschild teamed up to make wine together, creating Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons. Regional Information: Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons is located at the base of the stunning Simonsberg mountain in the Franschhoek Valley, on the historic French Huguenot farm Fredericksburg, which was founded in 1690.
This wine goes well with grilled meat, meat with sauce, grilled fish, fish with sauce, and Alba white truffles.
