Laphroaig Select whisky is made by aging it in different types of barrels, like sherry and bourbon barrels. This gives it a milder taste compared to the usual Islay whisky.

Description
This whisky has a shiny gold color with different layers of shades.
When you smell it, you’ll notice a strong smoky scent, like a campfire, followed by the smell of ripe red fruits.
When you take a sip, it starts off sweet, then you’ll taste the smokiness again, along with a little bit of ash and a hint of seaweed.
After you swallow, the taste lingers for a long time, and you can still sense some floral notes, as well as a touch of marzipan and lime.
This whisky is made by combining different whiskies that were aged in sherry barrels, hogshead barrels, and Bourbon casks. It’s then finished in new American oak barrels.
