Maker’s Mark Bourbon Facts And Cocktail Ideas

Maker’s Mark was founded way back in 1953 by T.W. Samuels, Sr. in the town of Loretto, Kentucky. Since then every bottle of Maker’s Mark has been hand dipped in red wax ensuring no two bottles are the same.

Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned

First get your old fashioned glass, mix your orange, cherry and sugar. Fill your glass three quarters of the way full with ice, add a double pour of Maker’s Mark and fill the rest of the glass with soda water. Garnish with an orange wheel to finish.

Makers Mark Mojito

Start by getting your mixing glass and add sugar syrup and mint. Give it a mix and then add a squeeze of lime juice and fresh lime wedges. Add a double shot of Maker’s Mark and a dash of triple sec. Fill the glass with ice and give it a vigorous stir. Top with soda and you’re ready to serve.
