A beautiful Australian red wine, this cabernet merlot will enhance your fruit punch with notes of black-current, juicy red berry and light cedar. Fine grained oak and smooth tannins compliments the fruit flavours perfectly.
How To Make The Best Red Wine Cocktail Punch
Ingredients:
- 1. 750ml bottle of Vasse Felix Premier Cabernet Merlot
- ½ cup apple juice
- ¼ cup cranberry juice
- ¼ cup fruit brandy Wenneker Apricot Brandy
- 5 sticks of cinnamon
- 5 dashes of Jerry Thomas Own Decanter Bitters
- ½ tsp. almond essence
Method:
In a punch bowl combine the Vasse Felix cabernet merlot, apple juice, cranberry juice and brandy, cinnamon sticks, bitters and the almond essence. You can even use a large enough jug. Combine all the ingredients by stirring well.
The punch once made must be left to sit at room temperature for about half and hour.
When preparing for your party make sure to place the bowl next an ice bucket. The punch must be poured over ice for the best experience. Enjoy!
