We find the best wine pairing for our garlic fried chicken is Koonunga Hill Autumn Riesling. Here’s How You Make A Delicious Batch Of Garlic Fried Chicken


2 tsps., or more if needed, of garlic powder

1 tsp. black pepper ground

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. paprika

½ cups breadcrumbs seasoned

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup milk

1 egg

4 boneless chicken breasts – skinless, halved and pounded

Oil for frying


In a dish mix in the garlic powder, salt, paprika, pepper, breadcrumbs and flour. In another dish whisk egg and milk. Set an electric skillet to 350F degrees and heat oil. Dip the chicken in the egg and milk mixture and coat well with the seasoned flour mix. Next, fry the pieces, thus evenly coated, in the hot oil for about 5 minutes per side or till juices run and the chicken is well cooked. Remove from oil and place on kitchen paper to drain oil.

Serve with a chilled glass of premium Riesling and toast to happy times!
